App store QR code generator

Get people to download your app from a poster, packaging or a slide. One code can send iPhones to the App Store and Android phones to Google Play.

Add your app links

This code opens a small page on qrcodeanvil.com that checks the phone and forwards it to its store in a moment. It's the one kind of code here that relies on this site: the store links themselves are in the code, never stored on our server, and the page will only ever forward to the App Store or Google Play.

    Finding your store links

App Store: open your app's page in a browser at apps.apple.com, or in the App Store app tap Share → Copy Link. Google Play: open the app's page at play.google.com and copy the address; it contains ?id= followed by your app's package name.

    One code or two?

A single-store code holds the store's own link, so it's fully static and works forever. The "right store for their phone" code needs something to look at the phone first, which a QR code can't do on its own; that's what the small forwarding page does. If you'd rather not depend on any website, print two codes labelled "iPhone" and "Android".

    Questions

    What happens on a computer?

The forwarding page shows buttons for both stores.

    Do you track scans?

No. The store links travel in the part of the address browsers never send to servers, and the page records nothing.
