    How it works

    Point the camera at the code and tap the notification. On iPhone and most Android phones the calendar opens with the event filled in, ready to save. Nothing is added until the person taps Add.

    Times are written without a time zone, so a 7:30 pm event shows as 7:30 pm on any phone. That's right for anything people attend in person. For an online event with guests in other time zones, put the time zone in the title or details.

    Questions

    Can I change the event after printing?

    No. The details are written into the code itself, so print it once the time and place are final.

    Can I add a reminder?

    Phones use the reminder setting of the calendar the event is saved to, so it's up to each guest.

    Is anything I enter stored?

    No. The code is made by your browser, and nothing you type is sent to us or saved.
