Terms of use

Last updated: October 14, 2026

QR Code Anvil (qrcodeanvil.com) is operated by QRCat, LLC, a Washington limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Using the site

The site is free to use for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't try to disrupt it, overload it with automated requests, get around its security, or use it for anything unlawful.

Check your codes

Always scan a code with a phone before you print or publish it, to make sure it opens what you expect. Colours, size, printing and placement all affect whether a code scans, and we aren't responsible for codes that don't work in your setting or for what they link to.

Your codes are yours

Making codes for your own business, club or project is a permitted use of the site, and you may use the codes you make for any lawful purpose, including commercially, with no attribution. What's restricted above is reselling or automating the site itself, not using its output. Don't use the site to make codes that point to malware, phishing or other harmful or unlawful content.

Trademarks

QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED. QR Code Anvil is not affiliated with DENSO WAVE.

No warranty

The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the site will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. We work to keep it correct, but you use it at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, QRCat, LLC and its members, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, data, savings or opportunity, arising from your use of the site or from decisions you make based on it, even if we were told such loss was possible. Because the site is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as your local law permits.

Links and outside information

The site links to and uses information from other organizations. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or practices.

Ownership

The site's text, design and code are © QRCat, LLC, except where material from others is credited under its own license.

Changes

We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted here, with the date above updated; continuing to use the site means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
