Privacy policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
QR Code Anvil (qrcodeanvil.com) is operated by QRCat, LLC, which is responsible for this policy.
What you enter
QR codes are made in your browser. What you type, such as links, WiFi passwords and contact details, is never sent to us or anyone else, is never saved, and is not put in the page address.
The codes are static: scanning one doesn't contact us. We can't see who scans your codes or what they contain.
Saved styles
If you choose Save style, the design you picked (colours, shapes, frame, error correction and any logo image) is stored in your own browser's local storage so you can reuse it. It never leaves your device, and what your codes contain is never saved. You can delete saved styles on any generator page, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect against abuse, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure how fast pages load. It records things like the page you visited, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, your country, and page-load timings. According to Cloudflare, it sets no cookies and doesn't track you across websites. It never sees what you type into a generator or the codes you make.
Cookies and advertising
The site currently sets no cookies and shows no advertising. (Saved styles, above, are stored only if you ask, and only in your browser.) If that changes, this policy will be updated before it does, and where the law requires it we'll ask for your consent.
If you email hello@qrcodeanvil.com, your message and address are used only to reply to you.
Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
